Festive Exhibition "One Hundred Years of Bulgarian Painting" at the Mission Gallery
On the eve of the upcoming bright holidays we have the pleasure to invite you to the opening of the visiting painting collection entitled "One Hundred Years of Bulgarian Painting" (1920-2021) on December 21 (Tuesday) from 18:00 in the Mission gallery.
The works are from the fund of our partners from Elena and Ivan Duychevi Foundation and the Center for Slavic-Byzantine Studies "Prof. Ivan Duychev" at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohrivski". The Mission Gallery was founded in 2009 as an unrestricted place for cultural diplomacy in Sofia. The gallery is a unique art space within the administrative structure, which changes the daily institutional rhythm, opening its doors to the public for a dynamic exchange of ideas, artistic concepts and messages.
The gallery complements and supports the activities of the State Institute for Culture, related to various forms of intercultural dialogue: project introductions and meetings with authors, exhibitions, conferences, literary readings, performances, charity events and workshops for children.
